New Studio Spotlight: The NEW YOU Studio
The NEW YOU Studio in South Florida helps brands tell their stories through captivating video content across television, digital, and OTT platforms. With experienced, multilingual crews and cutting-edge facilities, the studio supports projects of any scale while focusing on creative strategy and audience impact.
Recently, the studio hosted Film Florida’s Behind the Lens series: Aerial Drone Cinematography in Production, featuring Keith Colodny SOC, founder and lead cinematographer of Precision Aerial Filmworks. A pioneer in drone filmmaking, Colodny has shot aerials for major Hollywood studios, streaming services, and numerous South Florida commercial productions, giving attendees an inside look at high-level aerial cinematography in action.
The studio also welcomed the “Beyond the Audition” workshop, A 2-day intensive that is designed to give actors the opportunity to be involved in an immersive experience with Producer Andi Armaganian (Starfleet Academy, DC’s Stargirl, Dead Boys Detectives, Rescue Hi-Surf, etc.), Director/Producer Doug Aarniokoski (Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds Evolution, SEAL Team, etc.) and actor Eric Goins (The Righteous Gemstones, Hulu’s Murdaugh Murders project). Participants, including talent from Talent Direct Agency, explored both creative and technical aspects of film and TV production; from self-taping and call sheets, to camera angles and working with crews. Last month’s newsletter highlighted our talented group who attended, and the workshop was recently covered in the Travel & Life section of the Sun-Sentinel, featuring Shawn Goolsby and Elena Zavet.
Why the Drama
Sabine Krausch had the opportunity to serve as a judge for a cold table read at Why The Drama, presented by Film Gate, where actors bring scripts to life with no rehearsal or prep, just pure instinct and presence.
It was an incredible reminder of how powerful a script can be on the page and how quickly actors can rise to the challenge of bold, raw performance. Big kudos to everyone who participated!

Spotted in Los Angeles: Nelisa Nieto traveled to Los Angeles to film a National SAG commercial for AT&T, which is now airing in the US and Hispanic markets.
From coast to coast, Nelisa is taking her craft and her adventures on the road!
