From Editing to Directing with Andi Armaganian - Known for StarGirl, Deadboy Detectives & More!
Spring is in the air, and at Talent Direct Agency the momentum hasn’t slowed since the holidays. From industry travels and exciting events, to our talent stepping behind the camera producing their own projects - and in front of it starring in new films, commercials, and television - the start of the year has already been full of movement and creativity. We’ve celebrated incredible bookings (including a real-life mermaid making waves on a French television show!) and watched our talent continue to expand their reach both on and off screen. As always, the TDA girls have been on the go, connecting, supporting our artists, and building new opportunities along the way. We’re excited to share a glimpse of everything we’ve been up to as we head into a bright and busy spring season.
Behind the Scenes with the TDA Team
While we often share the exciting work our talent are doing on screen, there’s also a lot happening behind the scenes with the TDA team that helps keep the momentum going.
Sabine recently joined ARI Studios as a guest, continuing to stay connected with creatives and emerging talent in the industry. It was also a proud full-circle moment to see Sagiv and Talia, both discovered through the showcase, officially join the TDA roster. Bianka has been actively attending Palm Beach County Film Commission meetings, staying engaged with local production initiatives and opportunities in the region. Both Sabine and Bianka remain extremely involved at the state level as well, each holding board positions with their respective organizations and continuing their work with Film Florida to help support and strengthen the industry. Jamie has been steadily expanding her client base coast to coast, bringing new relationships and opportunities into the fold. Of course, none of it happens without the team behind the scenes. Susanne keeps the many moving parts well… moving, Destiny has been working on new background projects, and Christina documents it all and shares the journey across our social platforms. Looking ahead, we’re excited for what’s next as TDA continues to grow, including the upcoming opening of our Atlanta office, planned for late 2026.
TDA Travels
Our talent have been on the move! Recently, these TDA talent traveled to the Dominican Republic for an exciting Hilton campaign:
Lauren Parker, Anthony Akirinmola, Angelica Bourland, Ian Sebastian, Maxwell Worship, Chanel Wimbush, Elena Zavet, Felix Montano, Danielle Maddox, Me'Lisa Modestil, Katja Rauhe, Lorenzo Patane, and Lee Dahlberg. Meanwhile, Sofia Bragar was in Atlanta shooting a vertical short, keeping our roster active in other markets. From sun-soaked shoots to creative projects across the country, TDA talent continue to shine wherever they go.
Titanic Immersive Voyage: TDA in Action
TDA proudly sponsored and orchestrated the Film Florida Immersive Titanic Voyage, hosted by South Florida PBS with support from the Palm Beach Film Commission. Film Commissioner Michelle Hillery was on hand to celebrate, along with Alberto Jordat Jr.
Shoutout to our amazing volunteers who made it all happen: Elena Rockwell, Eric Trosch, Trent Baldeo, Matt Pitcher, Marcela Fernanda, and Eliza Benlulu. Guests loved the grazing table and the signature cocktail, Dockside Darling! Big thanks to Lack Limits Media | Media Production and Creative Directing for expertly capturing the event.

The Test
The Test, a neo-noir legal thriller set in South Florida, follows attorney Mike Leonardo as he begins investigating a suspicious lead surrounding a young man’s death—uncovering secrets that unravel during a tense law school reunion filled with old rivalries, buried betrayals, and dangerous truths.
The project was led by TDA’s Shawn Goolsby, who both produced and starred in the film, alongside fellow TDA talent Justin Brackett, Kirsten Wold, James Ippolito, Lauren Parker, Shawn Goolsby, Victoria Nelson & Keon Gaynor. Sabine and Destiny were on hand to support the project. Shawn was awarded a WIFT scholarship for funding last year while Bianka and Sabine were attached to the organization. “The Test started as something I planned to act in, with a little writing on the side. But as it grew, I realized there’s no reason artists should wait for permission to create. I stepped fully into writer-director-actor mode and built the film the way I believed it deserved to be built.” - Shawn Goolsby
Film Florida BTL
Andi Armaganian is one of Hollywood's working directors in episodic television — and she's a Fort Lauderdale original. After building a prolific career as an editor, cutting 100+ episodes of television, she completed the Warner Bros. Directing Program in 2017 and never looked back. Since then, she's directed some of the most visually ambitious series on network, cable, and streaming, including Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Rescue: High Surf Dead Boy Detectives, Stargirl, Arrow, and The Flash. Andi is back in her hometown to share what it really takes to direct episodic television — from the edit bay to the director's chair — and to inspire the next generation of South Florida storytellers.
