My name is Courtney Warner. I was born in Pennsylvania and raised in New York City, where the arts have always felt like home. I began my journey as a dancer in NYC, signed with the McDonald Selznick Agency, training in hip hop, jazz, and modern at Broadway Dance Center while spending years auditioning and performing. Over time, I felt increasingly drawn to storytelling, and acting became the natural next step. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work on projects that mean a great deal to me, including Ask Me to Dance, Trauma Therapy: Psychosis, Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point, and Love Unleashed. I’ve also appeared in upcoming films such as Curry Scent, Dark Night of the Soul, Valentine’s Town, McVeigh, After All, Bad Tenant, Break the Cycle, and DNA Secrets. Most recently, I was cast in Season 10 of the Emmy Award-winning series The Bay. Each role has challenged me, shaped me, and allowed me to grow as both an artist and a person. Today, I’m proud to call Sarasota, Florida home. It’s a place that continually inspires me, not only through its creative community but also through the causes I care deeply about, like supporting SPARCC. For me, acting is more than just performing—it’s about connection, creation, and leaving audiences a little more moved than they were before.
