On Thursday, July 10, the Tower Club Fort Lauderdale welcomed a vibrant crowd of professionals for Industry Night: Reel Connections — an evening dedicated to meaningful conversation, cross-industry networking, and fresh collaboration. Against the stunning backdrop of the Fort Lauderdale skyline, guests from the entertainment industry mingled and made connections. TDA is always happy to sponsor and spearhead these types of events.

Since 1974, the Tower Club has served as a cornerstone for Broward County's business and civic leadership — and this event was a shining example of that mission. From seasoned professionals to emerging entrepreneurs, attendees represented the diversity and forward momentum of South Florida’s creative and commercial landscape.

A highlight of the evening was a powerful and personal talk by Jevon White, a Florida native and NAACP Award-winning actor, known for his standout roles in BezonStartup, and Thunder Force. White shared insights on navigating the entertainment industry as a creative from South Florida, and spoke to the importance of representation, perseverance, and community.

Reel Connections lived up to its name, with attendees walking away feeling energized, inspired, and equipped with new contacts and fresh perspectives. The event also reinforced the Tower Club’s ongoing commitment to fostering connections across industries — whether through professional development, community initiatives, or inclusive member programming.

Thank you to Film Florida, Film Lauderdale and the Tower Club.

TDA Travels: From LA to NYC!

Our Talent Direct Agency stars have been coast-to-coast lately! Courtney Warner recently made the trip out to Los Angeles, where she was on set filming for an exciting TV show. We can't wait to see what she’s been working on. Meanwhile, on the East Coast, Adam Brudnicki was in action in New York City, shooting a promo spot. Whether they’re starring on set or just soaking up the city vibes, our TDA talent are staying busy and doing big things.

Saying Goodbye to Summer, Hello to What’s Next

As summer winds down, we’re reflecting on a season that brought more heat than just the weather. July picked up in a big way—bookings were steady, opportunities rolled in, and we wrapped the month of June with an incredible networking event that energized the community during what’s typically considered the industry’s slower season. It’s been refreshing to stay active through the summer months, but now all eyes are on fall. We’re preparing for what’s shaping up to be a packed season full of castings, bookings, and creative momentum. If July was any indication, we’re in for an exciting ride. Here’s to keeping the momentum going!

Refresh & Reignite: Perfect Time to Update Your Materials

In an industry that thrives on first impressions, staying fresh is everything. As the seasons shift, it’s the perfect reminder for talent to take stock, refresh, and reignite their brand. Whether you're an actor, model, or content creator, updated materials aren't just nice to have—they’re essential tools for standing out and booking work. Your headshot is often the very first thing casting sees, and it can make or break that next callback. It should look like you right now and reflect the roles you're aiming for. For models and commercial talent, fresh portfolio photos help you stay relevant and aligned with current trends, keeping your look competitive and versatile.
